The Digital Ninja Programme was a leadership and digital making skills enhancement programme, targeted at Malaysian students (aged 13-17) who possessed great digital making talents and have shown tremendous potential in becoming future Digital Tech experts. The programme transformed youth talents from digital-savvy users to digital producers. Participants of the programme delved creatively into innovative solutions from the digital world to combat social and environmental issues.

All Digital Ninjas were engaged in a specially tailored programme that offered advanced training on Digital Making and Upskilling, Critical Thinking, Leadership and Entrepreneurship skills. Their challenge was to develop innovative digital solutions to tackle the issues presented in the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. 103 students have participated in the Bootcamp, with the outcome of increased awareness of digital innovation and the opportunity to continue networking with industry players. Me.reka was awarded as the Digital Maker Hub hosting the programme.
